CorelDRAW Graphics Suite

Digital drawing is an art according to many people and we can agree on that. With so many animated movies, video games, and other forms of visual entertainment, digital drawing isn't going away any time soon. Anyone looking to get into it will have to face a tough choice from the start: which program to start with? Let's see if the answer is CorelDRAW!

CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2020 is the latest installment of CorelDRAW software tools used to create digital art using vector graphics. It comes with a free 15-day trial and a hefty price afterward. Paying a hefty price upfront might still beat paying a monthly subscription for Adobe Illustrator, though.

Currently, there is a Windows and a Mac version available. The new features marketed in the 2020 installment promise an integrated cloud experience where collaboration between team members is simplified. The Graphics Suite contains CorelDRAW 2020, Corel PHOTO-PAINT, Corel Capture and Corel Font Manager. However, CorelDRAW is the heart of the suite!

CorelDRAW has been around for 30 years and it's difficult to mention all of its features without writing an entire book about it. Drawing using vectors, adding shadows, and editing the result using many effects available makes CorelDRAW one of the most professional digital drawing suites on the market. Recent research suggests that it's used in around 60% of the industry.

Experience has shown that using CorelDRAW is the best approach if you want to design an entire product without leaving the suite. This includes brochures, product designs, cover art, or any complex structure that comes to your mind. The 2020 installment makes sure you can collaborate with other artists on the same project. It's an amazing app to start with as it provides a smooth learning curve and it's better for beginners than Adobe Illustrator!
